MIT Have The Highest SAT Score of 1,560 in 2024

The SAT test is still important in college admission and most four-years schools require or recommend the SAT score although some colleges start to exclude it recently.
The most of top ranked colleges and universities also consider the SAT score and the average score from enrolled students in the schools is much higher than the national average. The average SAT score of the top 50 colleges in order of SAT score is 1,516 while the national average score is 1,169.
For college admission in the academic year 2023-2024, Massachusetts Institute of Technology has the highest SAT score of 1,560 from enrolled first-time students. Johns Hopkins University and Harvard University follows it with 1,550 SAT score.
Jewish Theological Seminary of America rose 88 points from last year (2021), the highest among top 50 colleges that have the highest SAT Scores. Over the past five years, NYU has risen by 120 points, the highest of the colleges. The next two tables list the top 50 colleges that have the highest SAT Scores.
