Student Age Distribution at Connecticut Colleges

A total of 146,908 students are enrolled in Connecticut colleges including 4-year colleges, community colleges, and trade schools.

In Connecticut colleges and universites, 3,361 students are 18 years old or younger(2.29%), 36,433 students are 18 or 19 years old (24.80%), 35,527 students are between 20 and 22 years old (24.18%), 23,475 students are between 22 and 24 years old (15.98%), and 19,403 students are between 25 and 29 years old (13.21%).

16,671 students are between 30 and 39 years old (11.35%), 7,683 students are between 40 and 49 years old (5.23%), 4,309 students are 50 years old or older (2.93%).
