Student Age Distribution at Kansas Colleges

A total of 148,573 students are enrolled in Kansas colleges including 4-year colleges, community colleges, and trade schools.

In Kansas colleges and universites, 19,971 students are 18 years old or younger(13.44%), 38,442 students are 18 or 19 years old (25.87%), 30,924 students are between 20 and 22 years old (20.81%), 21,560 students are between 22 and 24 years old (14.51%), and 14,609 students are between 25 and 29 years old (9.83%).

13,505 students are between 30 and 39 years old (9.09%), 5,950 students are between 40 and 49 years old (4.00%), 3,507 students are 50 years old or older (2.36%).
