There are 76 active four-years colleges and universities in Puerto Rico - 14 public and 62 private schools. In the academic year 2022-2023, a total of 154,415 students have enrolled in four-years colleges in Puerto Rico including undergraduate and graduate programs. Compared to the population of 10 years ago, the the number of students decreased by 24.45% from 204,380 to 154,415. The undergraduate population decreased by 26.77% and the graduate population decreased by 9.51% in last 10 years at Puerto Rico Colleges.
