The average acceptance rate of the 35 Florida colleges that have competitive admission is 62.42% for the academic year 2023-2024. Compared to last year, the acceptance rate is higher by 0.05%. The acceptance rate at 16 Florida colleges increased and the rate of 19 colleges decreased.

University of Miami has the lowest (i.e. hard to admit) acceptance rate of 19.00%. Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (21.00%) and University of Florida (24.00%) are following it in the list of Tightest Florida Colleges to get in.

University of Miami stays at first place of the lowest acceptance rate ranking since last year. Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University ranked 2nd, up 3 places from 5th last year.
