New Jersey Colleges with the Lowest Acceptance Rate

The average acceptance rate of the 27 New Jersey colleges that have competitive admission is 76.04% for the academic year 2023-2024. Compared to last year, the acceptance rate is higher by 0.1%. The acceptance rate at 14 New Jersey colleges increased and the rate of 13 colleges decreased.

Princeton University has the lowest (i.e. hard to admit) acceptance rate of 4.00%. Stevens Institute of Technology (43.00%) and The College of New Jersey (62.00%) are following it in the list of Tightest New Jersey Colleges to get in.

This ranking is only based on acceptance rates and more admission stats such as SAT and ACT scores are helpful to measure the chances to get in more accurately.

Princeton University stays at first place of the lowest acceptance rate ranking since last year. Stevens Institute of Technology also maintained its second place in the ranking.

The average undergraduate tuition & fees of the schools is $39,616 and graduate tuition & fees is $29,035 for the academic year 2023-2024.
