Public Colleges with Most Online Enrollment

Many well-known colleges and universities are developed online divisions to offer online degree programs, and the number of online students has grown very rapidly.

1,207,311 students enrolled online exclusively, and the number of online students decreased by 269,782 from last year. The decline in the number of online students appears to be due to the end of the pandemic.

Arizona State University Digital Immersion has the most online students of 62,551 (all online exclusively) among 476 colleges that offer online programs.

University of Maryland Global Campus with 50,144 online students and Purdue University Global with 45,007 online students are following it in The largest online Public Colleges ranking.

Arizona State University Digital Immersion stays at first place of the largest online college ranking since last year. University of Maryland Global Campus also maintained its second place in the ranking.

The average undergraduate tuition & fees of the schools is $16,175 and graduate tuition & fees is $22,467 for the academic year 2023-2024.

The average acceptance rate is 66.12% and the average SAT score is 1,240 at the schools.
