Colleges with Higher SAT Scores for Admission

The 2024 average SAT score is 1188 which is 16 points higher than previous SAT score of 1172.

University of Chicago, Johns Hopkins University, and Harvard University have the highest SAT score of 1550 among 814 colleges that consider SAT score for admission.

Of those 814 colleges, 395 schools' SAT scores increased compared to last year, and 251 schools' scores decreased. 32 schools' scores are same as last year.

For 2024 admission, 37 colleges have the SAT score of 1500 or higher, which is very high and competitive. Additionally, the acceptance rate at these colleges is very low, averaging 8.97%.
